Two programs are open for pre-order. Keep your REVEAL 2S and add auto-detection, or trade it in for a brand new REVEAL 3S. Both programs ship before the end of the year. Spots are limited and filled in order of receipt.

Eligibility These programs are available to customers who purchased a REVEAL 2S through Stuller or JTR New York before May 28, 2026. Pre-orders open June 30, 2026.

JTR upgrades your existing REVEAL 2S hardware and software at our New York service center. Your device gains full auto-detection capability for up to 40 loose diamonds per batch.

You ship once. JTR ships back.

For both programs, you ship your REVEAL 2S to JTR in New York. That is the only shipping cost you pay. JTR covers the return shipment in full, whether that is your upgraded 2S or your new 3S.

What to Know Before You Pre-Order


Spots are limited and processed in order of receipt. Pre-ordering secures your place in the queue.


You do not pay the full amount upfront. The second payment is only triggered when JTR contacts you to schedule shipping.


Neither program makes the REVEAL 2S obsolete. This is an opportunity to stay current, not a forced replacement.


Both programs include auto-detection for up to 40 loose diamonds per batch. The 3S is faster, and that difference grows as JTR expands auto-detection to jewelry.

How do I know if I am eligible?

You must have purchased a REVEAL 2S through Stuller or JTR New York before May 28, 2026. If you are unsure, contact us at revealsupport@jtr.org and we will confirm your eligibility.

 What does the upgrade actually do to my device?

The Auto-Detection Upgrade is both a hardware and software modification, performed at JTR's New York service center. After the upgrade, your REVEAL 2S automatically classifies each loose stone as Natural, Potential Lab-Grown, or Potential Simulant, with no manual fluorescence interpretation required. Batch size is up to 40 loose stones.

 When will I be asked to ship my device?

JTR will contact you directly to coordinate shipping once your slot is ready. You ship your device at that point, and your second payment is collected at the same time. You are not asked to ship until JTR is ready to process your unit.

 Can I use my device until it is time to ship?

Yes. Your REVEAL 2S remains fully operational until JTR contacts you to ship. There is no downtime during the pre-order period.

 What is the difference in speed between the upgraded 2S and the 3S?

The REVEAL 3S processes batches approximately 2x faster than the upgraded 2S when auto-detection is active. For lower-volume operations, the difference may be minimal. For higher-volume workflows, the 3S will deliver a meaningful throughput advantage, one that grows as JTR extends auto-detection to jewelry screening.

 Is there a deadline to pre-order?

There is no announced deadline, but spots are strictly limited and processed in the order they are received. Pre-ordering as early as possible is the best way to secure your spot and your preferred fulfillment window.
